You’re Not Alone

A Support Group for Parents of Neurodivergent Children Ages 8-12

Parenting a neurodivergent child comes with unique joys and challenges that others may not fully understand. The hidden costs—financial, emotional, and social—can feel overwhelming. The constant advocacy, the sleepless nights wondering if you’re doing enough, the loneliness of feeling like you’re navigating this journey without a roadmap.

You deserve support. You deserve community. You deserve to be heard.

Wendy Fritz Licensed therapist and play therapist

Wendy Fritz, LPC

Wendy Fritz is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has dedicated her practice to supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. Since beginning her career shift to counseling in 2017, Wendy has focused her practice and continued learning on gaining a better understanding of neurodiversity and neurodivergence in people of all ages.
As a neurodivergent individual herself, Wendy brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She holds a post-graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia.
Wendy utilizes an evidence-based, client-centered approach with a neurodiversity-affirming lens that recognizes the diversity of each human’s experience and promotes acceptance and inclusion for all those with neurological differences. She creates safe spaces where neurodivergent children, teens, and adults can explore their unique experiences, develop personalized coping strategies, and celebrate their strengths.
Her clients often describe her as “unique,” “validating,” and someone who truly “gets it”—particularly those who have struggled to feel understood in previous therapeutic relationships. Wendy’s approach emphasizes meeting clients where they are and providing the vocabulary for effective self-advocacy.
