I believe that healing happens in the therapeutic relationship. I can teach you a million skills but if I haven’t created a safe place for you to share your hopes, dreams, fears, and deepest shame, then we aren’t going to get anywhere. I truly love my work and the connections I have with my clients and want you to feel safe, cared for, and like you have a space to be who you really are. Along with my more Humanistic approach, I use a lot of Mindfulness techniques and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (I love to give homework!). I also love using books, humor, movies, and music as ways to explore yourself.
